Last updated: 2026-06-28

Wallet Quest (“Wallet Quest”, “we”, “us”) is an educational money-habit app that helps you practice small saving and spending decisions through simple daily quests. This policy explains what data the app processes, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Wallet Quest is an educational habit tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, banking, credit, or professional advice.

Summary (plain English)

Data Wallet Quest processes

1) App setup and preferences

Wallet Quest may process:

Purpose: To personalize the app experience and generate appropriate daily quests.

Storage: Stored locally on your device unless you use an optional account-based feature.

2) Money habit records

Wallet Quest may process:

Purpose: To show your progress, calculate streaks/goals, and make the app experience work.

Storage: Stored locally on your device by default.

3) Notifications

If you enable reminders, Wallet Quest requests notification permission through iOS and may schedule local reminders such as a daily or next-day “money win” reminder.

Purpose: To remind you to complete a small money habit.

Storage: Reminder settings are stored locally on your device. Notification permission is handled by iOS.

4) Analytics

Wallet Quest may log basic app events, such as onboarding started/completed, Today screen viewed, task started/completed, reminder enabled/disabled, and journey milestones.

Purpose: To understand feature usage, improve the app, and diagnose product issues.

Third-party service: Firebase Analytics may process analytics events. These events are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking by Wallet Quest.

5) Optional AI/account features

The current Wallet Quest money-habit experience starts without requiring an account or AI processing. The app code may also include optional or legacy account/AI features. If those features are enabled and you choose to use them, the app may process:

Consent: AI features require permission before sending user-entered content to the AI service.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete local data by:

Deleting the app removes locally stored Wallet Quest data from the device, subject to normal iOS backup/restore behavior.

Notifications

You can turn off reminders in Wallet Quest settings or in iOS notification settings. Turning reminders off cancels scheduled Wallet Quest reminders.

Firebase Analytics

If analytics are enabled, Firebase may retain analytics events according to Google/Firebase policies. Wallet Quest uses analytics only for product improvement and diagnostics, not advertising or tracking.

Optional account/cloud data

If you use optional account-based features, some data may be stored in Firebase/Firestore so it can support the feature. You may request deletion by contacting us. We will make a reasonable, good-faith effort to delete app-controlled cloud data associated with the account.

Optional Gemini AI processing

If optional AI features are enabled, text you submit to Gemini and Gemini’s output may be retained by Google for up to 55 days for abuse monitoring, per Gemini API policies. Wallet Quest cannot directly delete data retained by Google for abuse monitoring; please refer to Google’s policies for additional retention and deletion options.

You can revoke or avoid consent in these ways:

Request deletion

You can delete local Wallet Quest data by resetting progress in the app or deleting the app.

For optional account/cloud data, contact us at the email below and request deletion. For data retained by Apple, Google, Firebase, or Gemini as part of their own processing, retention and deletion requests are governed by their respective policies.

Security

Wallet Quest is designed to minimize data use. The core money-habit experience stores progress locally and does not require bank connections. If optional cloud or AI features are used, data is transmitted over the network to the relevant service provider for the requested functionality.

Children’s privacy

Wallet Quest is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Financial disclaimer

Wallet Quest provides educational habit support only. It is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, legal advisor, bank, lender, broker, or credit repair service. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Consider consulting a qualified professional for financial, legal, tax, debt, investment, or credit decisions.
